Truly incredible artwork, in many ways. I love classic trek and you do it great!

Thanks! Classic Trek is where my heart lies. In its context, it's still relevant SF... unlike the new movies.

I think those original Trek minis caused me to undergo puberty.

At age 7.

A perfect illustration of why I call the TOS skant uniform, a "Booty Tunic". ;)

Well... it wasn't a skant, it was a straight up skirt.

Mmmmmmm....

I blame this picture for the huge Trek kick I've been on for about the past month. Got back into Daz so I could fill my runtime with ships & props, and am ginning up a revamped TOS bridge for the Yorktown. Worse, I had to finally go pick up the TOS Blu-Rays...creative nostalgia can get pricey!

LOL! Thanks! And, well, I won't apologize for the inspiration, even if it has been sucking up your time :)

Sounds like you're going through a similar phase as me, reliving the good ole days through illustration.

2009 Chris Pine version seeing the
Enterprise for the first time

Great shot ! I've often thought of doing one of these shots. One of my favorite scenes was just before they stole the enterprise..similar to this. I love it.

I know exactly what I'm going to do. I all ready have the primary hull and Nacelle modeled. I just need to figure out the problem I.m having with the AquaShuttle before I can move on to the Scout.

Whoa! :O Did she phaser the Admiral's cat or something? Being assigned to the Anubis is a one way ticket to career oblivion, although, I hear there once was an officer from that ship that did pretty well. :juggle: [link]

Hmm, something about girls and starships, they always look good from the rear! :blushes:

Well the Anubis has been flying through my pix for some time now, but it's only been the center of attention for 2-3 images, I think. I do like this Scout/Destroyer version - that is until Drell-7 completes his "ultimate remix", using this hanger design and the overall configuration of the Scout/Destroyer from The Starfleet Museum site.
