The Commander

I guess this one is in the same "series" as my recent Uhura piece . That would be the....uh... "inspirational sci-fi women of my younger years". So here we have SHADO Moonbase commander, Gay Ellis. And yes... her purple wig IS AWOL. This is her "off duty style" (as seen in other episodes). Much as I love the purple wigs, I just felt like doing a different presentation... AND using some of the great Gay Ellis/SHADO freebies out there.

This is definitely one of those pieces where I stand on the shoulders of "Freebie Giants". I tweaked it a bit, but Gary did a fantastic job capturing the actress' quirky/cute/almost anime facial features.
