Description
The crew of a Klingon D7 hide behind a small asteroid in a frontier system while attempting to repair a damaged S-2 Graf Unit so they can limp home. A key component with a zero-g maneuver dolly is being beamed over from the ship's cargo transporter. A scene inspired by the second Seekers book, where Kang's D7 limps off to lick its wounds and patch itself up for renewed battle. Also inspired by scene in Space Cruiser Yamato 2199 where repair crews tend to the ship's damage. Ktinga D7 model by Prologic9. Suits by Mestopholes with backpacks by Simon3D. Other bits by Nightshift3D, Petipet, Coflek-Gnorg, et al. DAZ Studio render.

I always loved the sophisticated effort that they put into the nacelles on the D7 Class. They're polar opposites from the Starfleet design architecture. Great work as always. Cheers. PS: Just an aberrant thought. Have you every imagined what a larger command sphere topped off with a typical Starfleet saucer section. All in a traditional Starfleet pearl white livery?
